There are several ways to build your business. Blogging is one of them. Business owners are starting to realize that blogging boosts their business. Blogs are not just for personal use – blogs are also great places to reach people about your business and your your products.

Even without a blog you can use blogging to boost your business by taking part in other people’s blogs. How? By creating quality posts to their blog and promoting your business when you do. Remember to keep it subtle and do with respect to solving their problems.

Find blogs that pertain to your niche market. With millions of blogs out there, you should be able to find many blogs with little or no problem. Post on all of them, or choose the few that get the most activity.

Why does this work? Well three reasons come to mind.

Name Recognition: Make your name and business known to your targeted marketing group. Post useful and intelligent information about topics that pertain to your company. Don’t make it sound pushy or ad like. Think about responding to another comment and simply tagging your signature with your company’s website. This is a subtle way to get their attention. The more you post on blogs, the more widely known your company’s name will become with the select marketing group. When they tell their friends and family about the site then your consumer group will have grown even more. Consider investing an hour a day on this task to benefit from this type of marketing.

Testimonials: Consider hiring professionals to blog for your company (check out elance.com). Or keep it local – offer friends, seniors, employees, etc. products to try and give them the task of finding blogs where they can appropriately “praise” the product. By paying these people to do the task, you will be getting the work done that you need without having to devote much time. Consumer testimonials go a long way with other consumers.

Build Relationships: Enlist the help of others. A great way to connect and build relationships with other businesses is via their blog. If you are a regular poster to their blog who values their business, they will be more likely to work with you. Working together with advertising is a great idea. You can swap ad space for no fee if you like. These are great things for business owners and are easy to get into when you blog regularly.

Blogging is a great way to do business. It is free advertising that does the same thing as a commercial on radio or television. It reaches a targeted marketing group and lets them know your company’s name, products, and sometimes offers an endorsement opportunities. It is an effective way to get your business name recognized by others in your targeted marketing group. People buy from people they know, like and trust. Start building your relationships today through blogging.

The more people see your name, the more help you offer, the better your reputation becomes in their eyes and the more likely they will trust you. People are funny: They would rather do business with someone they know that having to select an unknown competitor. Perhaps it’s the fear of the unknown. What ever the reason, use blogging to build your company’s reputation and see how effective it can be for you.

Link Building is an organic search engine marketing strategy that is free to use and provides plentiful (depending on your niche) opportunities to build web traffic to make money online.

Link building is locating other targeted sites in your niche, and either exchanging links with them, or having them link to you. The latter of the two – one way links – are considered to be the most ideal option amongst link building professionals.

Obtaining links creates targeted traffic. And in many cases, links from other sites can last forever so it is important to incorporate this tactic into your online marketing plan.

Following are suggestions to construct effective link building strategies.

1) Create content that compels other site owners to link to you. This is known as link bait. Create lists of helpful resources for people in your niche, include helpful descriptions. Tell them why you like the site, or how it is going to help them.

2) Purchase text links. This is probably the most frequently used link building strategy. This is also one of the fastest ways to generate one way links without breaking a sweat. There are many directories that specialize in matching text link buyers and sellers. These directories are good because you were find a number of sites to choose from in almost any category.

3) Get blog reviews. A simple way to build links to your blog is to get blog reviews. The concept is basic. Someone reviews your blogs content – you get a link. Do a search for “blog reviews” you will find several sites offering the service. Depending on the site, you may or may not have to pay for the review.

Link building is not hard but it does require time and commitment. Put in the time and the payoff of increased targeted traffic is huge.
